We are looking for a dependable Temporary 3.5T ADR Driver to support our client’s waste collection services. The role involves the safe collection and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste using a 3.5-tonne vehicle, ensuring full compliance with ADR regulations, environmental legislation, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and transport waste materials, including hazardous waste, using a 3.5-tonne vehicle
- Operate in full compliance with ADR, road traffic and environmental regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly
- Ensure waste is correctly packaged, labelled and secured
- Complete waste transfer notes, consignment notes and delivery documentation accurately
- Follow planned routes and schedules while adapting to operational needs
- Maintain high standard of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Provide professional customer service at collection sites
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (Category B)
- Valid ADR certificate (relevant classes)
- Experienced driving 3.5-tonne vehicles (preferred)
