7.5T Driver in Ringway

Job Summary

We are looking to hire 7.5T Drivers for our clients\’ delivery requirements.

7.5T Driver – Part time work available – Up to £596 per week for full time hours (including up front holiday pay).

Work Monday – Friday with the option to work weekends. 7.5T driver experience preferred but not essential. Temp to Perm opportunities available for the right candidate.

Location

South and East Manchester areas, including Trafford Park and other South Manchester areas.

About the Work

We provide consistent but flexible work for hundreds of drivers across a variety of industries. Most work is Monday to Friday, with optional weekend work for extra income. Typical shifts range from 8-12 deliveries per day to other businesses.

Requirements

• Cat-C1 driving licence.
• Minimum age 25 years.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points (no DD\’s, DR\’s, IN\’s, TT\’s).
• Excellent customer service skills and good literacy.
• Full UK driving licence with 7.5T entitlement held for minimum 2 years.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.

Duties

• Drive company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws.
• Carry out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.
• Maintain regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress.
• Complete paperwork accurately as instructed.
• Deal with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner.

Pay & Benefits

Attractive minimum rate of pay of £13.30 per hour (works out at £14.90 per hour inclusive of up front holiday pay). Overtime at £15.90 per hour (£19.40 per hour when up front holiday pay is added). Paid weekly via PAYE.
