We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for FOUR permanent HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to fulfil our client's requirements. This role will be based in Wythenshawe and cover the Trafford area. The position offers a competitive salary and overtime, with standard hours of 40 hours per week.
In this role, you will support the client by managing waste effectively, ensuring that highways and surrounding areas are kept clean, safe, and free of debris. You will collaborate with members of the public and other team members to create a hygienic and aesthetically pleasing community.
Responsibilities:
- You will operate the HGV and ensure the collection of refuse/recycling from requested locations, following a route set out by the business and disposing of refuse/recycling at appropriate waste collection sites.
- Carry out vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with both company vehicle policy and legislative requirements and complete appropriate paperwork.
- Work as a member of the team, receiving instructions from supervisors and communicating them with other crew members while complying with health and safety at work requirements.
- Maintain the best operational relationship between the public, other customers, and client representatives by dealing courteously with complaints and queries.
- Carry out and assist with loading responsibilities.

- Full Category C Driving Licence.
- Experience of driving Class 2 vehicles.
