Role: Class 2 HIAB Driver\\nSalary: £18.40 per hour Weekly Pay (£16.40 with accrued holiday pay)\\nLocation: East/South Manchester covering Salford, Trafford Park, Wythenshawe and Greater Manchester\\nSchedule: Full time, Monday – Friday (expected 35-40 hours per week)\\n\\nWe are currently seeking an enthusiastic HGV 2 Class 2 HIAB Driver for a large well know builders’ merchant to deliver to business and residential customers in and around Wythenshawe, Trafford Park and Greater Manchester.\\n\\nClass 2 HIAB Driver responsibilities:\\n\\n * Securing loads, understanding height restrictions and legal height limits\\n\\n * Delivering and collecting scaffolding and fencing equipment, using hi-ab slings\\n\\n * Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws\\n\\n * Daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance\\n\\n * Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress\\n\\n * Completing paperwork accurately as instructed\\n\\nClass 2 HIAB Driver requirements:\\n\\n * HIAB Licence\\n\\n * Cat C Licence (Category C – Class 2)\\n\\n * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card\\n\\n * No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)\\n\\n * Full UK Driving licence, held for 1 year\\n\\n * Able to work to tight deadlines\\n\\nClass 2 HIAB Driver Benefits:\\n\\n * Company pension\\n\\n * Free, On-site parking\\n\\n * BACS transfer\\n\\nDriver Hire, the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company have been engaged by a major European company to recruit their HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers, based in Manchester.
