Job description We are currently recruiting 2 x HGV Class 2 Driver for a well-established flooring company based in Irlam. They require two temporary (working 5-days per week), customer facing HGV Class 2 driver on a long term contract with the honest possibility of a FULL TIME PERMANENT ROLE on successful completion of probationary period. The successful Class 2 Driver will need to be enthusiastic, reliable, and physically fit as this is a demanding role. Carrying out approximately 10-15 deliveries per day of carpets, laminate flooring etc, to retail outlets around the northwest. Start time is 07:00 am to approx. 16:00 with some overtime. HGV Class 2 Driver will need: * Cat-C Licence * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card * No more than 3 points (No DD’s, DR’s, IN’s, TT’s) * Excellent customer service skills and good literacy * Full UK Driving licence, held for 1 year * Able to work to tight deadlines HGV Class 2 Driver Duties will include: * Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance * Maintaining regular contact with base on ETA/progress * Completing paperwork accurately as instructed * Dealing with Site Managers and location staff face to face in a polite and courteous manner Successful HGV Class 2 Driver will receive weekly pay of £14.45 per hour (£16.20 PER HOUR INCLUDING HOLIDAY PAY).
