Job Description
Role: HGV Class 2\\nSalary: £16.15 per hour including holiday pay (£14.40 with accrued holiday pay)\\nLocation: South Manchester, Salford, Trafford Park, Urmston, Irlam and Carrington\\nWork Pattern: Full time, contract, temporary, or part-time to suit\\nDriver Hire, the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company have been engaged by several major European companies to fulfil their permanent and ad-hoc/driver cover requirements. We are therefore currently seeking several HGV Class 2 Drivers for various roles and contract terms (to suit you) in and around Trafford Park.\\nHGV Class 2 Driver responsibilities:\\n * Maintaining regular contact with Transport/Branch Managers on daily progress\\n * Securing loads, understanding height restrictions and legal height limits\\n * Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws\\n * Daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance\\n * Completing paperwork accurately as instructed\\nHGV Class 2 Driver requirements:\\n * No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)\\n * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card\\n * Full UK Driving licence, held for 1 year\\n * Cat-C Licence (HGV Class 2)\\nHGV Class 2 Driver Benefits:\\n * Weekly pay paid PAYE by BACS Transfer\\n * Full employee benefits entitlement\\n * Company pension\\n * BACS transfer\\nWe offer a true, honest, and personal service and you will deal directly with the business owner.
