Our Rochdale based client is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an urgent requirement, with a view to start as soon as possible following interview and induction.
Role Overview:
- Delivery of steel products to commercial customers across the local and surrounding areas.
- Monday to Friday work.
- 06:00am start times.
- Responsible for timely, safe, and professional deliveries.
- Manual handling may be involved as part of the role.
- Compliance with EU Drivers Hours Rules and Working Time Directive.
- Ensuring vehicle checks and paperwork are completed correctly.
Requirements:
- Category C (Class 2) Licence with a clean driving record.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience is essential.
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
- Experience within steel deliveries or a similar environment is desirable.
