Are you looking for ongoing Class 2 refuse work? Monday to Friday with the option of working Bank Holidays for that extra bit of cash? You could be working with a great team who may offer you a permanent contract. Our Oldham-based customer is looking for Class 2 refuse drivers to join their team.
07:00 am start, with the option of working some weekends (weekend work is optional). Rear steer experience is preferred but not essential. Guaranteed 9.25 hours a day!
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Operating a Class 2 refuse truck.
- A lot of the work will be driving through residential areas which means you may need to reverse/drive down tight spaces (with the help of a banksman).
- Working as part of a team.
- Some loading will be required.
- Cleaning your vehicle at the end of your shift.
- Working with a crew of loaders, therefore, teamwork is essential.
- Vehicle checks.
- Completing paperwork.
What we are looking for:
- Category C Entitlement.
- Full & Valid CPC.
- Full & Valid Digital Tachograph.
- No more than 6 points on your Licence.
- Be aware of and follow all drivers' hours regulations.
If you have all the above, have a good working attitude and are reliable then get in touch now. You must be available for a driving assessment AND a paid induction. The inductions will be done between Monday - Saturday.
