We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 ADR driver for our customer based in the OL16 postcode. This role is on a 13-week temporary-to-permanent basis.
What we are looking for:
- Category C entitlement.
- Full & Valid CPC.
- Full & Valid Digi card.
- Full and Valid ADR Card.
- No more than 6 points on your license.
- At least 1 year of Class 2 experience (ideally 2).
- Excellent communication skills.
- ADR experience (Packaging).
- Experience with tail lifts, curtain side vehicles, pump trucks - manual & electric.
- Good local knowledge of the road network.
- Pallet experience would be beneficial.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws.
- Deliveries to commercial and private addresses.
- Pallet collections.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.
- Completing paperwork accurately as instructed.
- Dealing with customers politely.
Once permanent with the customer (after 13 weeks):
- Salary is £34,945 PA, paid monthly.
- Contracted hours are based on an average of 50 hours per week, with start times typically between 06:00 and 08:00.
- Bonus scheme split into 3 remits of £1,000 each.
