We are looking for Class 1 drivers to start immediately for our clients based in and around Luton, Dunstable & Leighton Buzzard who are looking for HGV Drivers. We have day shifts, night shifts and weekend work.
As a HGV Driver you must:
- Have C+E License
- Have a CPC Card
- Have a Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year experience driving Class 1 due to client insurance purposes
- Have less than 8 points on your licence
- Have HGV Sat Nav
- Have Safety Boots & Hi Vis
HGV Driver responsibilities include:
- Transport goods between various locations on behalf of suppliers and customers such as warehouses, distribution centres, retail outlets and construction sites
- Client dependent, the work can involve HGV Trunking, HGV Long Haul, HGV single drops
- Plan deliveries and check route
- Keep records of your deliveries and driving hours
The successful HGV Driver can expect:
- Various shifts available Monday to Friday
- Days: £17.50 PAYE inclusive of your holiday pay
- Monday to Friday Nights: £18.50 PAYE inclusive of your holiday pay
- Saturday: £18.50 PAYE inclusive of your holiday pay
- Sunday: £21.00 PAYE inclusive of your holiday pay
- 8hr minimum guaranteed pay per day
