We are looking for Class 2 HGV Drivers to start immediately for our clients based in Luton, Dunstable, and Leighton Buzzard. We have day shifts, night shifts, and weekend work.
As a HGV Driver you must:
- Have Category C Licence
- Have CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year's experience driving Class 2 due to client insurance purposes
- Have less than 8 points on your Licence
- Have HGV Sat Nav
- Have Safety Boots & Hi Vis
Class 2 HGV Driver responsibilities include:
- Transport goods between various locations on behalf of suppliers and customers such as warehouses, distribution centres, retail outlets, and construction sites
- Client-dependent, the work can involve Class 2 HGV cage work, palletized, multi-drop & refuse work
- Plan deliveries and check route
- Keep records of your deliveries and driving hours
The successful Class 2 HGV Driver can expect:
- Various shifts available Monday to Friday
- Days: £16.50 PAYE inclusive of your holiday pay
- Nights: £17.50 PAYE inclusive of your holiday pay
- Saturday: £20.00 PAYE inclusive of your holiday pay
- Sunday: £20.00 PAYE inclusive of your holiday pay
- 8hr minimum guaranteed pay per day
