We are currently seeking Minibus Drivers for a full-time position based in the NW10 area of North West London. This role offers guaranteed year-round work and involves operating split shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for shuttling employees between nearby transport hubs and their place of work during scheduled hours.
Key Duties
- Operate the minibus in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure timely departures and arrivals at designated stops.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting including those with disabilities or special needs.
- Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Keep accurate records of routes, passenger numbers and any incidents.
- Provide passengers with route and schedule information when required.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 09:00, 16:00 - 19:00. Occasional overtime may be available between 09:00 - 16:00.
Requirements
- PCV License (Category D) - REQUIRED.
- Enhanced DBS - REQUIRED.
- No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only).
- No DR or CD endorsements.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly professional manner.
- Previous bus or minibus driving experience preferred but not essential.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be 25 years or older (insurance purposes).
- Successful completion of: Pre-employment medical, Drug testing, Background and criminal checks (including fingerprinting).
