Overview
Are you looking for temporary work on an as and when needed basis? Driver Hire London South-West is working with a national food supplier to provide additional staff during busy periods or staff absences.
Based in the New Covent Garden Market, the client delivers food produce to restaurants, shops, hotels, etc. They are a hardworking, established team dedicated to providing a high level of service and passion for the produce they deliver. They are currently looking for van drivers to join their team to help meet client needs during periods of high demand or staff shortages.
Responsibilities
- Operate van deliveries with multi-drop routes.
- Assist with lifting and handling as required.
- Use public transport to reach the depot if parking is not available on site.
Requirements
- Multi-drop delivery experience.
- Good knowledge of London roads.
- Willingness to use public transport to get to and from the depot.
- Ability to lift and handle goods as part of the role.
Details
- Start time from 6am to 8pm (10-12 hour days).
- Pay rate: £13.90 per hour PAYE, including holiday pay.
- Depot location: New Covent Garden Market; note that on-site parking is not available.
