Driver Hire South East London are recruiting for a PART TIME temp to perm delivery driver for our butcher client based within SE24 postcode areas.

PAYE Weekly Pay: £13.69 per hour (including holiday pay)

Type of shifts:

  • Multi drop deliveries in and around M25
  • Delivering Meat
  • Part Time Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Mon, Fri, Sat
  • Start times: 5am-2pm

All-round Duties:

  • Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid UK CAT B licence for at least 2 years with no more than 3 points (no DR DD TT IN)
  • A manual driving licence
  • At least 1-year experience as a Cat B (references required)
  • Must be comfortable with heavy lifting!
  • You must be over the age of 21 years (insurance purposes)
  • Physically fit, jobs require heavy lifting
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
  • Ideally someone who will be able to travel on public transport, no free parking available but paid parking is available
