Driver Hire South East London are recruiting a temp to perm delivery driver for clients based within SE1 postcode areas.
Pay & Schedule
- PAYE Weekly Pay at £13.69 per hour (including holiday pay)
- On-going position for the right candidates
- Type of shifts: Multi drop deliveries in and around M25, delivering electrical supplies
- Shifts mainly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday. Start times vary between 7:30am-4:00pm
All-round Duties
- Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- Valid UK CAT B licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN)
- A manual driving licence
- At least 1-year experience as a Cat B (references required)
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting
- Over the age of 21 years (insurance purposes)
- Physically fit; jobs require heavy lifting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
