Driver Hire South East London are recruiting for a temp to perm delivery driver for our butcher client based within SE24 postcode areas.
PAYE Weekly Pay: £14.25 per hour (including holiday pay)
Salary Once Permanent Will Be: £34k
Extra Pay: £75 per week when working on the night shift when permanent
Type of shifts: Multi drop deliveries in and around M25, delivering meat. Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Mon-Fri & the occasional Saturdays. Start times: 5am-2pm or alternative week 2:30am-11:30am.
All-round Duties:
- Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid UK CAT B licence for at least 2 years with no more than 3 points (no DR DD TT IN).
- A manual driving licence.
- At least 1-year experience as a Cat B (references required).
- You must be over the age of 30 years (insurance purposes).
- Physically fit, jobs require heavy lifting.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Ideally someone who will be able to travel on public transport, no free parking available but paid parking is available.
Schedule: 9 hour shift, Day shift, Night Shift, Monday-Saturday.
Licence/Certification: Cat B Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
