Driver Hire London South East are currently looking for Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join our team. As an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be essential in ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining high standards of vehicle upkeep. Reporting to the Transport Manager, your role will leverage your core driving and commercial driving skills, along with your HIAB expertise. Effective communication and time management will be vital as you navigate delivery routes and interact with clients. Join us in this pivotal role within our logistics team.

Main Duties Include:

  • To deliver building materials with multiple and varied drops
  • To load and unload vehicle and maintain safety and security of load at all times
  • Provide customers with the highest level of service
  • To plan and adapt routes
  • Operate HIAB crane with a remote-control system
  • To comply with all health and safety requirements in depot, on road and at customers premises
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle

Key Requirements Include:

  • A clean HGV Class 2 License including Digital Tachograph and CPC card
  • A valid HIAB License minimum 2 years experience
  • Multi-drop experience
  • Knowledge of building materials and construction site would be beneficial
  • You must be physically fit
  • Eligibility to work and live in the UK

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: HGV Driving: 2 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification: HIAB license- 2 years, Class 2 Driving Licence- 2 years
