Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to support general haulage operations for a client based in Horncastle.
Position: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver
Location: Horncastle, Lincolnshire
Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Temporary
Pay Structure:
- £15.15 per hour (first 8 hours)
- £20.20 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
Weekly PAYE pay every Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete 1-5 deliveries per day, both locally and nationwide
- Transport goods safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain delivery records
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all safety and operational procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- No major endorsements (maximum 6 penalty points)
