Class 1 Driver in Horncastle

Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support general haulage operations for a well-established client based in Horncastle. This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity with an immediate start available. Position: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver Location: Horncastle Start Date: Immediate Recruiting Office: Driver Hire Lincoln Candidate Requirements: * Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence * Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card * No major endorsements (maximum of 6 penalty points) * Hi-vis clothing and safety boots * A positive attitude with a flexible and professional approach to work If you do no have Class 1 experience please give us a call on (phone number removed) Pay: * £17.56 per hour (first 8 hours) * £23.41 per hour (after 8 hours) * Weekly pay every Friday * Engaged on PAYE Advanced Key Responsibilities: * Complete between 1 and 5 deliveries per day, both locally and nationwide * Transport goods safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures * Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete all required paperwork * Maintain clear communication with the transport office and customers * Follow all road safety, legal, and operational requirements If you're looking for a long-term driving opportunity and can commit to ongoing work, we'd love to hear from you
