Driver Hire Lincoln is seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to support general haulage operations across the Nation.
Position: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Gainsborough
Employment Type: Temporary (ongoing and ad hoc work available)
Start Time: 06:00 daily
Pay Structure: £15.25 per hour for the first 8 hours, £20.33 per hour for overtime (after 8 hours per shift). Weekly pay every Friday via PAY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods to various destinations
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Follow all safety and operational procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
- CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- General haulage experience preferred
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
