Forklift Reach Truck Driver

Driver Hire is seeking an experienced Reach FLT Driver/ warehouse operative to fill a permanent vacancy for our client based in Horncastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient handling of goods and maintaining a safe working environment. This position is a 13 week temp to perm, on the 14th week you will be working directly full time for our client. Job description Monday to Friday work 07:00 till 16:00 Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas. General warehouse duties Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Conduct regular inspections of forklift equipment, reporting any mechanical issues or necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse. The successful candidate will possess; Valid Reach Forklift License Personal transport Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic maths skills for inventory management.
