About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Dustbin Lorry Driver to join our waste management team. You will play a vital role in keeping our communities clean and safe by operating refuse collection vehicles and supporting waste collection crews.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive and operate a Class 2 (Category C) dustbin lorry safely and efficiently

Work as part of a team to collect household and commercial waste and recycling

Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures at all times

Complete daily vehicle checks and report any faults

Provide excellent customer service when dealing with the public

Complete paperwork and digital logs as required
Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence

Current CPC qualification and digital tachograph card

Good understanding of driving laws and regulations

Previous experience in waste collection or similar role (desirable but not essential)

Good level of physical fitness – the role may involve assisting with loading
