We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 ADR Packages Driver to safely transport and deliver ADR packaged goods in line with all legal, safety, and company requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for the delivery and collection of ADR packaged goods.
- Ensure full compliance with ADR regulations, road traffic laws, and company procedures.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately.
- Load and unload packaged goods safely, ensuring correct segregation and securing of loads.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and ADR documentation.
- Deliver goods on schedule while providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
- Adhere to drivers' hours regulations and working time directive.
- Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle at all times.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid ADR certificate (Packages).
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 6-12 months Class 2 driving experience (ADR experience preferred).
- Good knowledge of UK road networks.
- Strong understanding of health & safety and compliance.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
