Pay Rate: £13.85ph
Hours: 06:00am - finish
Shift: Monday-Friday - odd Saturday

Driver Hire are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T HGV Driver to join our client, a busy and well-established fruit and vegetable wholesaler.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable driver looking for regular, ongoing work with a friendly and professional company.
The Role
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to customers
- Completing multiple deliveries throughout the day
- Loading and unloading goods
- Checking delivery notes and ensuring orders are delivered accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at each delivery
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
The Ideal Candidate
- Valid 7.5T / Category C1 licence
- CPC and Digi Tachograph
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience preferred
- Experience within fresh produce, food or wholesale distribution would be an advantage
- Physically fit, as some manual handling is involved
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Good communication and customer service skills
