You could be:
- Working for a busy local delivery company, completing around 20-30 deliveries per day of various goods, mastering efficient multi-drop routes.
- Joining a supplier of garage doors, working as part of a 2-man team delivering across the country, which may include 13-14 hour days on occasion.
- Transporting a variety of tools and equipment, requiring you to be skilled with ratchet straps for secure loading.
Across all roles, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of goods, maintaining excellent customer service, and using PDAs for accurate tracking. You will also need to be prepared for manual handling and handballing as part of your duties. What we’re looking for:
- A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence, full Driver CPC, and a valid Digital Tachograph card. New Pass candidates can be considered.
- Demonstrable experience with ratchet straps and load securing.
- Familiarity with PDAs for delivery management.
- A willingness to undertake manual handling and handballing duties.
- A good level of physical fitness.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Good local geographical knowledge is a plus.
