HGV Drivers

Driver Hire Leeds West is currently recruiting several HGV Class 1 / Class 2 Drivers to join our expanding team, working with a growing roster of clients within the Leeds area.

What we are looking for:

1. Drivers with experience willing to work on a full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc basis.
2. Reliability is essential, as shifts may be covered at short notice.
3. Good communication skills to inform us of your availability.
4. Experience with HIAB and Moffett, with relevant tickets.

About the role:

We work with excellent companies in the area and prioritize supporting our drivers, making them feel valued. You can earn as much or as little as you choose, working a full week, a few days, or just weekends—flexibility is up to you.

Pay rates:

Starting at £17.26ph for Class 1 and £15.69 for Class 2. Weekend overtime can exceed £18.94. Rates include holiday pay upfront. We operate our own payroll system to ensure drivers are paid correctly, without third-party deductions.

Basic requirements:

1. At least 1 year of HGV Class 1 / Class 2 driving experience.
2. Current, valid licences.
3. A Full CPC Card.
4. Safety boots and high-visibility clothing.
5. Flexibility, good communication, and honesty.
