We are seeking a qualified and dependable Class 1 ADR Driver to join our client, a leading waste management company, based in LS12. The role involves the safe transport of waste materials into and from the company’s depot, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport waste materials to and from the depot in compliance with ADR and waste management regulations
- Perform vehicle checks and ensure the proper loading and unloading of waste
- Maintain accurate records of waste deliveries and collections
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, road traffic laws, and company policies
- Ensure professional conduct and excellent customer service when representing the company
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (CE) licence
- ADR certification (in tanks and packages)
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Experience in transporting waste or hazardous materials is an advantage
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience would be advantageous, however they are not opposed to taking on a new pass driver.
- Knowledge of waste management regulations is beneficial
- Strong commitment to safety and legal compliance
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary of £34,000 per annum, going up to £37,000 once passed probation.
- Stable working hours, Monday to Friday (07:00 - 16:30), with 1 Saturday per month
- Potential for regular overtime, including Saturdays which are paid at time and a half with earning potential reaching £40k per annum

- Flexible Starting Times depending on your routes for the day.
