Driver Hire Leeds East are an experienced driving agency with an ever-expanding range of clients. Our office is based in LS10 and our friendly team are here to help you get work in Leeds. We understand that working with an agency for the first time can be a daunting prospect, that's why we meet all our drivers face to face so we can discuss in person the work they are applying for.

Driver Hire Leeds East are recruiting Class 2 HGV SKIP drivers for our client based in LS9 on a permanent basis (13 weeks with Driver Hire, then after completing the 13 week period you will go permanent with the client).

The Job role:

As a Class 2 SKIP Driver you will be required to deliver and collect SKIPS from both residential and business addresses and return them back to our clients waste management depot in LS9. As this is a combination of residential and business drops/collections you must be confident with driving on residential street addresses in a Class 2 SKIP wagon.

Start time: 6AM - 45 hours per week

Shift: Monday to Friday

Experience needed: No previous experience in SKIPS required, just the willingness to learn the operation of the vehicle.

Assessment: You will be required to complete an assessment day to demonstrate that you can drive a Class 2 vehicle safely.

Requirements:

  • CAT C Licence
  • DIGI TACHO and CPC Card
  • We can accept up to 6 penalty points on licence and be clear of any previous driving bans

PAY:

Weekly payment by BACS on a Friday each week (whilst working with Driver Hire Leeds East), Monthly Pay when employed directly by our Client. PAYE payments only £16.50 per hour / £38.6K per annum.
