We are recruiting 1 x Permanent HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in Sturton Leeds.
Our client is a major cash n carry business who require a new Class 2 HGV driver to join their team.
Your main role will be to deliver cages of goods (mainly – food, drink, Alcohol) to other businesses around the west Yorkshire area.
On busier run days you will also be supplied with a drivers mate to complete your work.
Start time: 7AM (Monday to Friday)
Rate of pay: £15.89 per hour – 38Hours per week
Start date: 11th August
Requirements:
- CAT C or above driving entitlement
- CPC and Tacho cards up to date
- Previous delivery experience – this can be in smaller vehicles such as 7.5 tonne or VAN
- You will be delivering to repeat customers so you must be customer service orientated
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence
- Happy to handle Alcohol
Contract type: Temp to Perm – this means you will be employed by Driver Hire for 13 weeks, then after successfully completing your 13 weeks you will automatically transfer to direct employment of the client.
