We’re looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy highways team based in Milnthorpe. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands on, working outdoors, and getting stuck in with a hardworking crew. This role is commutable from Kendal, Carnforth, Kirkby Lonsdale, Grange-Over-Sands and Lancaster.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating an HGV Class 2 vehicle for highway repairs and road resurfacing
- Supporting the team with general labouring duties as required
- Working Monday to Friday with regular overtime available
- Representing the business professionally while working across local road networks
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 (Cat C) driving experience
- Valid CPC & Tachograph
- Someone physically fit who doesn’t mind helping out on the ground when needed
- A reliable and team focused attitude
Pay:
- £16.00 per hour for the first 8 hours each day
- £17.50 per hour for all hours worked over 8 per day
