We're looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to assist our client in Heysham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for work through the week. This is Palletline work, therefore experience in a similar role would be beneficial. You will be responsible for the collection and delivery of local routes. Drivers can expect shifts to be between 08:00am and 18:00pm (with the exception of unforeseen situations such as road closures etc).

What We Offer a Class 2 Driver:

  • £16.50 - £17.00 per hour basic
  • Overtime at £18.00 after 8 hours
  • Free on-site parking
  • Weekly pay
  • Home every night
  • No late nights

Key Responsibilities for a Class 2 Driver:

  • Deliver goods safely and efficiently to delivery points
  • Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with company and legal requirements
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety, transport regulations, and working time directives
  • Represent the company professionally at all times
  • Report any issues to the Transport Manager

Experience & Qualifications for a Class 2 Driver:

  • Valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digi Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
  • No major endorsements (IN, DR, DU, CD)
