HGV Driver - Class 1 Days
Hourly Rate: £17.00 PAYE ADV , £18.50 PAYE ADV after 8 Hours
Shift Pattern: 6:00 AM Starts
Starting in Morecambe
Driver Hire Lancaster are currently recruiting Class 1 Day Drivers for HGV work starting in the Morecambe area. This work will be for our client in the Transport sector who have over 40 years trading experience. Drivers will be responsible for making collections and deliveries around the UK. We are keen to speak to drivers with at least 1 year of experience in the general haulage industry.
As a HGV Class 1 Driver you must have:
- CE Licence/ Class 1 Licence
- CPC Card & Digital Tachograph
- No Major Endorsements
HGV Driver responsibilities include:
- Vehicle safety checks
- Reporting any defects
- Successfully completing collections and deliveries across the UK
- Following route plans within the collection and delivery windows
The successful HGV Driver can expect:
- £17.00 per hour (paye adv)
- £18.50 per hour (paye adv) after 8 hours
- Weekly Pay
- 8 Hours guaranteed every shift

This work is commutable from Morecambe, Carnforth, Lancaster and other surrounding areas.
