HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER

£17.50 per hour - Our drivers typically earn £1000 a week (based on 5 day week)
Driver Hire Lancaster is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Day Drivers to assist our client in the Heysham area. Shift start times are 06:30AM. We are looking for experienced drivers with great people facing skills and who has a Health & Safety focused mindset. Ongoing work available for the right drivers.
The Role:
- Class 1 General Haulage
- Dock Collections
- Curtainsider work
- Carry out walk around & safety checks, ensuring correct method for strapping loads
- Reporting any defects immediately to the Transport team
Pay & Benefits
- £17.50 per hour (PAYE ADV)

Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good customer service skills
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
