We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our client’s team based in Heysham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and general haulage experience to work in a friendly and supportive environment with opportunities to grow.
What We Offer:
- £17.00 per hour basic
- £18.50 per hour overtime after 12 hours (per shift)
- Monday to Friday Work
- Immediate starts available
- Free on-site parking
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods safely and efficiently to delivery points
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with company and legal requirements
- Ensure any loads are safely strapped
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, transport regulations, and working time directives
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digi Card
- Minimum 1 years' Class 1 experience preferred
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Excellent customer service and timekeeping skills
- Previous general haulage or dock work experience desirable
Additional Information:
- Nights out may be accommodated at £27.50 per hour
- This specific work is ongoing work Monday - Friday
