Overview

Class 1 or 2 HGV Hook Loader Driver. Pay rate: £15-£18. Contract Type: Temporary. Location: Thetford or Ipswich. Start Date: ASAP. We are looking for a Class 1 or 2 HGV Hook Loader Driver to start immediately for our growing client base across the IP postcode.

What to expect as a Class HGV Hook Loader Driver

The role has to cover Mondays & Tuesdays. Can accommodate a Driver for Saturday - Wednesday / Sunday - Thursday / Monday - Friday / Monday - Thursday / Monday - Wednesday. Running our of either Thetford or Ipswich depending on your location, you will be driving a Class 1 (wag ’n’ drag) or Class 2 hook loader vehicle (RORO) delivering & collecting skip bins to and from household waste sites. You will be working in and around Suffolk & Norfolk region.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering & collecting skip bins to and from household waste sites.
  • Operate Class 1 (wag ’n’ drag) or Class 2 hook loader (RORO) vehicles.
  • Work in and around the Suffolk & Norfolk region.
  • Follow training and safety procedures for hook loaders.

Qualifications

  • UK Driving Licence with Cat C or CE Entitlement.
  • Valid CPC & Digicard.
  • 1+ year experience.
  • Able to drive a manual lorry.
  • Have no more than 6 effective penalty points.
  • No DG, DD or IN endorsements.

Other details

This is an ongoing temporary role. Your day will typically start at 0700hrs and be 10hrs long. No nights out required. No London routes.
