We are looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver with HIAB to start immediately for our growing client base across the IP postcode, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team in Ipswich.

The successful Class 2 HGV Driver with HIAB will receive:

  • £17 - £20 PAYE
  • Weekly pay
  • Company pension
  • Overtime available
  • Guaranteed 8 hours per day
  • 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE
  • Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period

What to expect as a Class 2 HGV Driver with HIAB:

You will work Monday to Friday, delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites using a Class 2 vehicle fitted with HIAB (remote and brick grab). Typical start times are between 06:00‑07:30 with an average of 8‑10 hours per day. Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, completing delivery notes, and providing excellent customer service. The role may include multi‑drop deliveries within the local IP area.

As a Class 2 HGV Driver with HIAB you must have:

  • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
  • Valid HIAB certificate (remote and brick grab)
  • Valid CPC card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph
  • Previous HIAB or building materials delivery experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and safety awareness
  • No more than 6 effective penalty points
  • No DG, DD or IN endorsements

This position is commutable from Ipswich, Thetford, Newmarket, Stowmarket, Diss and other areas nearby to Bury St Edmunds.
