Van Driver - Ongoing Full-Time Role

Dalcross, Inverness

£12.71 per hour PAYE Or £14.24 PAYE ADVANCED

Start Date: Immediate | Monday to Friday

Driver Hire Inverness is recruiting a Van Driver to be based in Dalcross. You will be delivering a variety of items throughout the Highlands with a drivers mate. This is a full-time ongoing role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

We\'re looking for someone who is self-motivated, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

What We Offer

  • Full time, ongoing work.
  • Monday to Friday starting at 0600.
  • PAYE - £12.71 per hour / PAYE ADV - £14.24 per hour.
  • Permanent position offered to right person.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver furniture throughout the Highlands with a drivers mate.
  • Operate a delivery system app.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while following road safety regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, including manual handling.
  • Communicate effectively with the onsite team and customers.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.

Requirements

  • Valid UK Cat B Driving Licence.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR, CD, IN or TT codes).
  • Good local area knowledge (preferred but not essential).
