The Role
We are currently recruiting a General Operative for a 6 month contract in Brora, with an immediate start available. This is a hands-on, outdoor role working as part of a refuse collection team, helping to ensure essential services are delivered safely and efficiently.
Duties Will Include:
- Assisting with refuse and recycling collection
- Loading and unloading bins and containers into collection vehicles
- Working closely with drivers and other operatives as part of a team
- Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and work areas
- Communicating clearly with colleagues and members of the public
- Completing basic paperwork and simple forms as required
- Carrying out all duties associated with a physically demanding role
Requirements:
- Good awareness of Health & Safety in a working environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public
- Good level of physical fitness
- Full, valid UK Driving Licence
- Able to manage simple paperwork and forms as required
