Driver Hire Huddersfield is currently on the lookout for Category C+E - Class 1 LGV Drivers to join us working alongside prestigious clients based throughout the Kirklees areas of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Holmfirth and Meltham. These roles are for temporary and ad-hoc bookings assisting clients covering holiday and sickness and increase in business demands. Most clients are looking for a minimum of 1 year's worth of experience on this entitlement.

Role:

  • Trunking work, curtainsiders, flatbeds and tail lift experience
  • Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off
  • Ensure that the vehicle and its cargo get to their destination safely
  • Liaise with customers at the point of delivery
  • Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered

Requirements:

  • Be in possession of a Cat C+E (Class 1) UK driving licence
  • Have a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Be able to demonstrate a Right to Work in the UK
  • Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences
