Driver Hire Huddersfield are on the lookout for 7.5t Drivers based in the Kirklees area. We are seeking 7.5t LGV Drivers Category C1 to join us working alongside clients throughout Huddersfield, Brighouse, Holmfirth and Meltham. These roles are for temporary and ad-hoc bookings assisting clients covering holiday and sickness and increase in business demands.
The candidates must possess both a DQC CPC card and Digital Tachograph card. Drivers without CPC can visit www.driverhiretraining.co.uk for available online courses.
- Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off.
- Ensure that the vehicle and its cargo get to their destination safely.
- Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.
- Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered.
- Be in possession of a Cat C1 (7.5T) UK driving licence.
- Have a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Be able to demonstrate a Right to Work in the UK.
- Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences.

These roles may also include non-driving duties such as loading and unloading the vehicle; therefore candidates should be comfortable with doing some lifting and have a good demonstration of safe loading.
