Driver Hire Huddersfield are on the lookout for 7.5t Drivers based here in Kirklees area – we are seeking 7.5t LGV Drivers Category C1 – to join us working alongside clients based throughout the Kirklees areas of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Holmfirth and Meltham.
These roles are for temporary and ad-hoc bookings assisting Clients covering holiday and sickness and increase in business demands, the candidates must possess both a DQC CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off.
- Ensure that the vehicle and its cargo get to their destination safely.
- Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.
- Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered.
- Be in possession of a Cat C1 (7.5T) UK driving licence.
- Have a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Be able to demonstrate a Right to Work in the UK.
- Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences.

These roles may also include non-driving duties such as loading and unloading the vehicle; therefore candidates should be comfortable with doing some lifting and a good demonstration of safe loading.
