Driver Hire High Wycombe , Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead & Watford are currently looking to recruit a an experienced HGV Driver, with Category C entitlement on a Monday - Friday Night Shift pattern IMMEDIATE START!!
There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift at £25 per hour.
Minimum 1 year Class 2 experience .
Overtime is paid after 8 hours worked. These rates are paid on a Umbrella model.
Shifts - start times start from 23:00pm
Suitable candidates will have the following:
- A full and valid UK driving licence, with CAT C entitlement.
- No more than 6 points (minor offences only).
- Current and valid CPC and Digi-Tacho cards.
- Previous HGV driving experience (Minimum 6 months)
- Appropriate PPE (Safety shoes & Hi-viz).
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation, safety, and delivery protocols
Skills:
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road
