Driver Hire is recruiting on behalf of a Removals Company based in Camberley. They are looking for a 7.5t driver to join their friendly, professional team. This is a great opportunity to join a long established family business that has been operating for around 50 years. They offer removal services incorporating all aspects of moving home or business. This is a full time, permanent role after a short temp to perm period.
Benefits:
- £33,150 per annum
- 28 days paid holiday
- 42.5 hour week
- Usually 7.30am start
Responsibilities:
- Work in teams of 2 or 3 to carry out removals for homes or businesses.
- Be polite and friendly to all customers, staff and other road users, remembering customer service is key when entering people's homes or businesses.
- Perform daily vehicle inspection checks.
- Adhere to tacho rules and regulations.
- Drive in a safe and respectful manner.
- Load, unload and drive.
Requirements:
- UK driving licence with Cat C1 entitlement.
- CPC and Digi tacho cards.
- Verifiable work references.
- Max 6 minor penalty points.
- Willingness to drive and assist with manual handling.
