dh Recruitment & Driver Hire Grangemouth are currently looking for a Van driver (Cat B) to work with a client in the Stirling and surrounding areas. Due to insurance purposes, you MUST be over 25 to drive one of our vehicles and not have in excess of 6 points.
Working Monday - Friday ONLY (NO weekend work), 45hrs per week but we will require flexibility. 6am - 3:30pm.
Your role:
- Liaising with the Logistics team on a daily basis regarding any issues/returns you have been made aware of.
- Reporting issues regarding deliveries to the correct team member.
- Delivering items to a number of locations on your route.
- Conducting inspections of your vehicle before departing to deliver bathroom goods and informing the Logistics Team of any concerns/issues.
- Ensuring all goods match your dispatch sheet.
- Reviewing deliveries.
- Returning all completed paperwork and check sheets to the Logistics Office.
To qualify for this role:
- Previous delivery driving experience is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Enjoy travelling and seeing different and new places.
