About the Role
Driver Hire Grangemouth is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a 12 week temp to perm opportunity with a well-known timber distribution company. This is a great chance to move into a long-term, stable role with a respected employer in the timber and panel products sector.
Key Duties
- Delivering timber and sheet materials using a Class 2 vehicle
- Securing loads safely and following company safety procedures
- Providing professional customer service at delivery points
- Completing all delivery and vehicle paperwork
- Daily vehicle checks and general vehicle cleanliness
- Occasional night-outs (paid)
- Supporting warehouse/yard operations when needed
- Working various start times to suit delivery destinations
Requirements
- Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 2 years on licence
- Previous HGV 2 experience (timber/building materials advantageous)
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to complete some manual handling
- Reliable and safety focused
Pay & Hours (Temp Phase)
- Monday‑Friday £14.50 p/h - Accrued Holidays

- Weekly pay through Driver Hire
