Warehouse Operatives (Pickers & Packers) - 2 Positions Available
Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester
Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour (including holiday pay)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:20 - 16:50
Contract: Temporary to Permanent for the right candidates
We are currently recruiting 2 Warehouse Operatives (Pickers & Packers) on behalf of our client based in Quedgeley.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy warehouse team, with the potential for a permanent position for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and work ethic.
The Role
Your daily duties will include:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Using handheld scanners to complete daily warehouse tasks.
- Operating a manual pump truck to move pallets of picked items around the warehouse.
- Carrying out manual handling duties.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Working Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday, 07:20 - 16:50.
- £14.80 per hour (including holiday pay).
- Two 15-minute paid breaks.
- One 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- No weekend working.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
- A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical warehouse duties.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, including speaking, reading and understanding written instructions, to safely carry out the duties of the role.
- A valid forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
