Overview
Driver Hire Glasgow is looking to recruit a counterbalance forklift driver with a valid licence and relevant experience for a builders merchant in the Govan area. This is a long-term temp-to-perm position working Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00.
Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift (FLT) safely in a builders merchant environment
- Load and unload goods, accurately palletise and store stock
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
- Maintain forklift and warehouse cleanliness and safety
Qualifications
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 07:00–15:00; overtime may be payable after 8 hours
Pay & Hours
Pay rate (PAYE) from £11.25 – £13.25 per hour. You will accrue holiday pay; pension benefits; all PAYE and National Insurance are paid directly to HMRC. The working pattern may be variable with overtime payments after 8 hours.
