Overview

Driver Hire Glasgow is looking to recruit a counterbalance forklift driver with a valid licence and relevant experience for a builders merchant in the Govan area. This is a long-term temp-to-perm position working Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift (FLT) safely in a builders merchant environment
  • Load and unload goods, accurately palletise and store stock
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required
  • Maintain forklift and warehouse cleanliness and safety

Qualifications

  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday 07:00–15:00; overtime may be payable after 8 hours

Pay & Hours

Pay rate (PAYE) from Β£11.25 – Β£13.25 per hour. You will accrue holiday pay; pension benefits; all PAYE and National Insurance are paid directly to HMRC. The working pattern may be variable with overtime payments after 8 hours.
