Driver Hire are looking for a Yard and Vehicle Co-ordinator with a Class 2 driving licence to join one of our very well-established clients based in the Horsham area. It is a temp to perm full-time opportunity, but part-time working hours could also be considered. You will be responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and organised operation of the depot and vehicle fleet.
About the role:
- Ensuring all equipment and materials are stored correctly and safely
- Managing the organised and safe parking of vehicles upon their return to the depot
- Assisting with vehicle reversing and parking when required
- Supporting the transportation of crew members to various locations to help maintain an efficient service
- Transporting parts, tools, and vehicles for MOTs and other inspections, contributing to the maintenance and repair of the fleet
- Moving a wide range of vehicles within the depot as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Monday to Friday - 37 hours weekly but part-time hours will be considered
- Start date: 01/05/2026
Qualifications/Experience:
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role is required
- You must hold a valid Class 2 driving license
- Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure
- No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions. No (CD/IN/DR/TT)
- Would need to live within 15 miles of the depot
