We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Crawley.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the safe loading, delivery, and unloading of our range of garage doors to customers across the South East, London, and occasionally the Midlands. This is a customer-facing role and will also involve general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring vehicles are correctly and safely loaded before departure
- Delivering garage doors and spare parts to regular customers in the South East, London, and Midlands
- Unloading garage doors and spares at delivery locations (customer not always present, so self-unloading is required)
- Assisting with loading vehicles for the next dayβs deliveries
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
- Basic maintenance and cleaning of vans and warehouse areas
Requirements
- Clean UK driving licence (maximum of 3 points acceptable)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Professional and courteous when dealing with customers
