Driver Hire Gatwick are currently seeking a Coach Driver (CatD) to join one of our valued clients based in Crawley. You will be transporting passengers from the parking to the airport. Shift pattern may include weekend work. This is a part-time opportunity; however, if you are seeking full-time hours, we can offer additional work covering car and van delivery roles to keep you busy.
Location: Crawley
Pay: £19 per hour (via umbrella). Minimum of 8 hours guaranteed. £16.19 per hour for car/van roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting passengers from the car parking to Gatwick airport
- Start time is usually between 17:00 to 20:00 (min of 8 hours guaranteed)
- Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts
- Accurately complete job reports and system/system updates
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any defects promptly
- Maintain high health and safety standards, including correct PPE use and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Valid CatD licence (PCV)
- Up to date CPC qualification
- Experience as a Coach Driver
- Would need own transport to get to and from the workplace
- No more than 6 points
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
