Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking a Yardman with a forklift licence to join one of the clients who are a prestigious haulage company. You will be loading/unloading the lorries manually and with the forklift. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate and you will be covering sickness/holiday on a Class 1 lorry.
Responsibilities
- Load/unload lorries with a forklift Monday to Friday starting between 05:30 and 07:30
- Ensure compliance with driving regulations when you’re driving the lorry
- Make sure all paperwork is signed, accurate and distributed
- Make sure loads are secure
Qualifications/Experience
- You must hold a valid forklift CB licence
- You must hold a valid Class 1 licence
- Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure
- No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions. No (CD/IN/DR/TT)
- Would need to live within 10 miles of the workplace in Lingfield
- Good navigational skills
- Right to work in the UK
